An Advanced Computerized Program in Advanced Sectors
The role of computer which is widely recognized is in transportation sector. People are given facilities which enable them to do everything easily including when they want to buy airplane or train tickets. We can also compare the price offered by different flight companies and choose the one which suits our budget. We can even call a taxi through application in our smart phone which is connected to the company’s computerized program. We do not have to wait for a long time anymore. However, the role of computer is more than that. It is even much more useful in other advanced sectors such as petroleum and geographical industries. The following are important reasons why if used wisely; a computerized program can be very useful.
It is not Space Consuming
Imagine if the staffs who work in petroleum industry have to write one by one how much petroleum they have obtained and how much they have sent to other companies they are cooperating with. A large company is usually cooperating with several other large companies. If they have to take note of every transaction in a book, then imagine how many book they will need to keep the transaction history. If they do that, it means they need more space where they can keep the books. It is the same as that in geographical sector. While the staffs in petroleum industry have to keep the transaction history of selling and buying petroleum, the staffs in geographical sectors have to have the map of areas. Without computerized program, they will not be able to work well as they have to draw every detail of the area themselves. They will need a large piece of paper, books and a very wide place to keep it because they have lots of books and piles of papers. It will cost more than when they have a computerized program specially designed to do the impossible work.
It Helps Them Distribute Things Well
Things here refer to the general things that both industries are dealing with. The staffs in petroleum sector have to make sure whether during the distribution, the petroleum is distributed exactly in the desired place. They also have to think hard especially in order to prevent certain parties to smuggle it. They have to manage everything well that they can gain enough profit, the other companies can receive supply exactly in the desired amount, and the citizens can use it as well. That is where computerized programs and system are needed. Meanwhile, in geographical sectors, computerized programs are needed so that they really know the topography of every area. It will later relate to many important things like how means of transportation is managed, how food supply will be distributed, how the land should be cultivated, and how is everything organized when stricken by disasters. Those things have to be done for the sake of the citizens’ prosperity. There are no doubts that computerized programs are important especially when those are designed to do the very difficult things that human cannot do.
